Leixões were an excellent opponent, a team that has been well prepared; João is doing an excellent job. They're a team fighting for promotion and they made life very difficult for us.

Football allows us to meet a lot of people, in one of those good meetings I had the chance to meet João Nuno. It was in 2018 and after that I discovered a great person and professional. Among his several skills, I recognize his great organizational skills, being very methodical and his enormous ability to integrate new things into his work and those around him. At his age, I think he is someone with a solid foundation for development that will allow him to reveal his full potential and get him where he wants to be. With his open mind, his knowledge and his experiences, he is certainly a professional with a present and an even greater future.

As soon as I had the opportunity to work with João I realised that he is a restless coach, who always seeks to improve and make others improve, with the ability to adapt and a great desire to work. He's always attentive and is very effective in the new technology as well as in all the possible innovations to have and give the best and maximum information to both the players and the staff. He's an enthusiastic and knowledgeable person, always at the service for the benefit of the work group.

I've worked with João for almost a year and his dedication on the training pitch every day was amazing. He's got an eye for details and tried to vary as much as possible in his trainings. Besides his excellent knowledge of the game, he is a great person.

João was a fantastic coach, always ready to help and very detailed on correcting tactically the players. He knew how to relate perfectly with the players in order to have their respect and consequently get the best out of their quality. He was very smart in the way he saw the game and how he helped to execute a training session. It was a great pleasure to have been coached by him and I believe that he will be an excellent coach in the future.

João is a passionate football coach and an avid student of the game. His performance analysis background adds to the care he shows for details both on training and match preparation. With enthusiasm, dedication and always available to discuss football, João supported with good insights the coaching methodology development at City Football Group, and as assistant manager the U23s players' development at Benfica.
